Last.FM Widget
I saw the post from the Vox team regarding the ability to beta test widgets so I thought that I'd sign up and give it a go. First impression is that its smooth and easy to use but there are a couple of things that I would note.
1. The size of the frame to contain the widget code is fixed. This means that depending on the widget size you may either cut some content off or alternatively end up with big patches of white space.
2. The widget functionality only seems to be in 'post' space. This is not really very useful as it will quickly date as you post new material. I havnt yet seen where (or if) a widget can be added to you static non-post space. Perhaps its there but I just can see it yet.
