Derek, one of the founders of JPG magazine has written a pretty damning overview of why he and partner Heather have been disassociated from JPG Magazine. The sense of dissappointment is growing in the Flickr-verse with 8020, JPG Mags publishers. The building unease does drive home the fact that JPG Mag is ultimately a community driven forum; I wonder if the CEO was able to appreciate the impact of his actions before he tried to erase the past. It will be interesting to see where this all ends ups. Read and research and form your own opinion.
Received my next rejection notice from JPG Mag. This was the photo, submitted for the Entropy theme. Ego is a bit fragile now.
Murray Sunset National Park is about 100 kilometres west of Mildura on the Victoria/NSW border. While it's not the real desert, it is a big wide open expanse and as such is a great place to take photos. I spent one afternoon looking for a good road to the horizon type shot and had just about given up when on the way back to camp I noticed that the clouds were going in the same direction I was. I jumped out and snapped a couple of quick shots and this was the result.
